oxygen oblique blowing rotary convert furnace is also called Kaldor furnace, it is attracting more and more people’s attention in metal smelting field for its s superior performance and high efficiency. Because of its continuous operation and heavy load, the bearing will fail easier. In order not to delay the project time, we need to know the working situation of the bearing, so that to change the failure bearings in time. The fault detection and diagnosis system of oxygen oblique blowing rotary convert furnace carry data collection on the basis.There are a lot of electromagnetic interferences in machine running scene, which will cause more severe signal extraction interferences in detection system, and will make the detection system wrong judgments with the machine’s operation authenticity. Therefore, we need to take shielding measures for the sensitive parts in the detection system against jamming signal, and to guarantee the authenticity of collected data.In this paper, we study the content that the design of shielding object of detection system, which mainly includes the theoretical modeling, numerical analysis and software simulation research method. In order to study the relationship between the shape, size and wall thickness of shielding object more convenient, this article use the magnetic scalar potential methods and carry numerical analysis of the cylindrical shielding’s effectiveness, and also extends this conclusions obtained to the general shielding’s calculation. At the same time, the analyses of hole seam’s calculation formula is also carried in this article, and the relative theoretical conclusion show that different hole shape can bring different impact on the shielding effectiveness. Thus, we can get a more intuitive and clear understanding in choosing the shape of the shield hole and hole seam’s area when design a shield.Finally, the design of the shielding object about the sensor in the detection system is carried in this paper, according to the structure of the sensor, considerate of various factors that affect the shielding effectiveness comprehensively, and the general steps of shielding object design is introduced.
