Automatic Catwalkalso known as power Catwalk, attached to the rig’s ground equipment part, is a keycomponent of the pipe’s automated handling system, used in transporting drillingtool from the ground to the rig floor during drilling operations and transporting theremoved drilling tool from the drill floor to the ground, is a automate apparatuswhich transport drilling tool up and down the drill floor.Domestic land drilling rigs achieve the transportation of drill pipe, drill collarsand casing from ground to drilling floor most are still using the traditional catwalk. Itis primarily manpower operating mode, the job requires multiplayer, operator havehigh labor intensity, high-risk, very low operating efficiency, extremely prone tophysical casualties; Simply cannot meet the requirements of drill pipe frequently upand down in the course of oil drilling. This article according to the issue of domesticautomatic catswalk, put forward the design idea of fully hydraulic automaticCatwalk, wherein the transport system of drill pipe is important part of fullyhydraulic automatic Catwalk, its main function is to transport the drill pipe to theCatwalk platform automatically and efficiently.According to the role of drill pipe’s transport system in the fully hydraulicautomatic Catwalk, this paper’s mainly work as follows:First, introduce the subject source, background and significance; expound theCurrent development situation of the domestic and foreign fully hydraulicautomatically Catwalk in detail, the problems to be faced and major research contentand so on. Introduce drill pipe transport system’s workflow, the main component and working principle, make detailed introduction to the study of the drill pipe transportsystem’s design, and introduce the drill pipe transport system’s position monitoringdevice. This paper uses Inventor software as the design platform to build athree-dimensional model of drill pipe transport system.Second, the paper make a brief introduce to the study technical indicators ofdrill pipe’s transport system; do detailed design calculations for key components ofdrill pipe’s transport system, including hydraulic cylinder thrust calculation,calculations of drill pipe stent, inner diameter of hydraulic cylinder and piston rod,check the intensity and stability of the drill pipe stent, design calculations of rotatingarm curved surface.Third, on the basis of the three-dimensional model of drill pipe transport system,use multi-body dynamics simulation software ADAMS to do kinematics anddynamics simulation analysis of drill pipe’s transport system, can obtain centroiddisplacement, the centroid velocity and acceleration profiles of drill pipe during drillpipe transport system’s movement; contact force and collision force curve betweendrill pipe and the various components of the drill pipe transport system.Fourth, use finite element software ANSYS Workbench modules to do staticanalysis of key components of drill pipe transport system; obtain stress distributionof components under the load. Furthermore do the stability analysisof hydrauliccylinder rod, to determine whether to meet the stability requirements. |
