Broaching machine mainly can be divided into the hydraulic driving and motor driving,with the development of industry standards, the production and processing is required higher andhigher, the hydraulic driving broaching increasingly unable to meet requirements of the partsprocessing. Therefore,many scholars have been researching on the area deeply, and introducingthe high-performance AC servo technology into broaching machine, developed AC servo drivingbroaching machine, so the level of broaching machine processing has been greatly improved.Japan Co., Ltd. and Germany Klink Corporation are the most successful companies at thebroaching machine industry,they have developed the high-performance servo driving broachingmachine with the load force up to160tons, which used the CNC system to improve thereal-time and multi-motor driving mode, so its possess high automation, big load force, goodgenerality and real-time. Domestic broaching machine is mainly consisting of hydraulic drivingbroaching machine. Moreover,AC servo driving broaching machine have begun to developingonly in a few companies. And the load force of less than20tons,the performance is relativelypoor, domestic broaching machine technology is far behind other countries. In addition, theblockade of abroad broaching machine technology is highly serious,the cost of machineequipment imported from foreign are extremely expensive. Therefore, it is necessary to develophigh-performance servo driving broaching machine with large load force independently, andstrive to break the monopoly of foreign technology.In this paper, the research status of broaching machine were introduced, and a permanentmagnet AC synchronous motor as actuator, the vertical internal broaching machine asexperimental subjects, PLC as the control center, combining the high-performance AC servotechnology, the research on broaching machine synchronous control system based onpermanent-magnetic synchronous motor. Firstly, the performance of AC servo driving broachingmachine and hydraulic driving broaching machine are compared, the research significance of ACservo driving broaching machine is established, and the AC servo technology used in broachingcontrol system in this article is researched, the thesis introduces in detail permanent magnet ACsynchronous motor control theory and vector control technology. Secondly, the working principle of vertical internal broaching is analyzed, a detailed design of the control system basedon the vertical internal broaching machine structure is given,the whole methods of controlsystem include hardware design and software design, hardware design consist of the drivingmode design of main slide carriage, auxiliary slide carriage and design of PC control system.Software design includes a system control programming, debugging software design and processinterface design. Finally, we have conducted experimental tests to the control system methodbased on the vertical internal broaching machine mechanism, including synchronizationperformance, stability of control system and whole performance indicators. The results show thatthis control system has a good stability and synchronization performance, and the wholeperformance results are fully achieved the design requirements.Lastly, the whole broaching machine control system is analyzed, and combined withdebugging problems, the improvement program of broaching machine control system is given.The control system method of permanent magnet synchronous AC motor multi-axis synchronousdriving broaching machine is designed in this paper, which is a first attempt at multi-motordriving technology will be applied to broaching machine.
