Amines and Sulfones are important organic compounds. For that they are not only widely existed in natural products and drugs. But also are important components of many functional polymer materials. Moreover, some of them are indispensable substance in life activities. Therefore, building new carbon-nitrogen bonds and carbon-sulfur bonds based on some simple structures nitrogen-containing and sulfur-containing compounds are particularly important. So far, there are many ways to built carbon-nitrogen and carbon-sulfur bonds, finding and developing effective, environment-friendly, simple and mild reaction conditions to build those new bonds are still hot topics at present in organic synthesis. Contrast to transition-metal-catalyzed organic reactions, transition-metal-free reactions are more appealing in drug synthesis for they avoid the use of expensive catalysts and ligands, but reduce the pollution to the environment greatly meantime. This paper is focused on the development of new synthetic method for constructing carbon-nitrogen bonds and carbon-sulfur bonds under transition-metal-free conditions, and it include the following two aspects:(1) n-Bu4NI/TBHP catalyzed direct amination of allylic and benzylic compouds with anilines under metal-free conditions. This reaction requires only a catalytic amount (20mol%) of n-Bu4NI under solvent-free conditions. It is easy to operate and good yields are obtained.(2) The synthesis of alkenyl sulfones from sulfoxide and alkene under metal-free conditions via carbon-sulfur bond cleavage reaction. This reaction is carried out under solvent-free conditions using iodine as catalyst and TBHP as oxidant. The reaction complies with the requirements of green chemistry for its easily operating, inexpensive and readily available catalyst and substrates, and also the good yields.
