Karstic groundwater is the main source of water in karst regions in southwest. Karstin southwest of China is relatively full, karst phenomena is typical. The undergroundriver system is more developed relatively complete. Aqueous medium is highlypipelining and strong heterogeneity. It is very important to master knowledge of karst, the hydrodynamic field, water chemistry characteristics of karst groundwater resourcefor protecting groundwater resource and guaranteeing production. In this article, contaminant in the main production unit of a steel plant in GuizhouProvince is predicted as solute transport simulation study of groundwater. Osmoticcoefficient of vadose zone obtained by water penetration test is about3.80×10-4-3.05×10-5cm/s, osmotic coefficient of aquifer obtained by pumping test isabout1.93×10-3-1.62×10-5cm/s, osmotic coefficient of aquifer obtained by pumping testis about3.80×10-4-3.05×10-5cm/s, vmean of main run off zone is about566.04m/d.Geophysical exploration and other hydrogeological survey in the study areacan provide the basis for the simulation and prediction of groundwater solute.Hydrogeological conceptual model of the study area is established based on fieldsurveys and data collection,by using the virtual field to approximate the porous mediuminstead of complex fractures, karst media field, which is equivalent to the media systemof macro-hydraulic characteristics. The model is identified and verified according tothe water level data and hydrogeological parameters. At the same time, groundwaternumerical model Visual Modflow can be constructed by adjusting the permeabilitycoefficient and partition parameterIn this article, the mathematical model established accurately reflects the actualcharacteristics of the study area groundwater systems, It provides a scientific basis foremergency measures to pollution prevention and detection of contamination ofgroundwater leaking.
