Surface roughness of the cardiovascular stents is an important factor determining the surface quality. The smooth surface can not damage the vascular wall and help to prevent the activation and aggregation of platelets, which is recognized to be one component of the process of thrombosis.Because of the unique advantages.electrochemical polishing has attracted considerable attention.But its essential details have not been reported yet as demand form busuniss conmpetition,which,restricting the production and promotion of new materials stent.In this paper, electrochemical polishing process of the popular cobalt-chromium alloy stent has been systematic studied. With the orthogonal experiment menthod,experiments depending on L9(34) orthogonal table show that, using Phosphoric-sulfuric-chromic anhydride acid system can achieve better polishing effect. The use of single-factor experiments to optimize the parameters to obtain a stable electrochemical polishing process parameters.Meanwhile clearing electrochemical polishing process of cobalt-chromium alloy. such as pretreatment,electrochemical polishing, clean and passivation.we also solved the hard to blanking, Preservation and other related technical problems. Finally, the problem encountered in the process of polishing also been discussed and proposing appropriate solutions.In this paper, Magnesium alloy sheet polishing process was also studied. We not only solve the magnesium alloy mirror polished technical problems, but also get a suitable magnesium alloy stent polishing process. The study found that phosphate chemical polishing process can get a better glare, but the surface pitting more difficult to remove; nitric acid system electrochemical polishing process to get a better smoothness and corrosion uniform, but polished finish is easily oxidized to form a white film, thus affecting the shininess. In this paper, the use of innovative electrochemical polishing-based chemical electrolytic polishing composite technology combines the advantages of both processes, balance surface flatness and reflective degree of magnesium alloy polished and achieve better quality polishing process. Finally, this paper presents a magnesium alloy polishing process specification. focusing on details of the deal, such as cleaning and preservation.At the end, this study made a good foundation for industrial applications of magnesium alloy stent polishing.
