The petrochemical centrifugal pump of type IHF70-65-60is mainly used in petroleum, chemical industry, synthetic fiber, fertilizer, power station, metallurgy, food and pharmaceutical industries. Besides, it has obvious advantages to transport the liquid which is clean or that contains particles, high or low temperature liquid, and neutral or corrosive liquid. The petrochemical centrifugal pumps have good performance on suction, regulation and cavitation. It is also non-overload and efficient and has a wide high efficient area, etc. To deeply understand its characteristics, facilitate optimal regulation, low design cost and cycle.This paper used the numerical simulation method, the hydraulic design, the3d modeling, numerical simulation results and analysis on the type IHF70-65-60have been done. The inner flow’s characterization is got under a steady and unsteady state by the method of numerical control. The pump’s running status is analyzed combining with the external characteristics and the conditions change. The research shows that the petrochemical centrifugal pump of type IHF70-65-60has a good performance and it can meet the requirements in practical operation when used in oil industry without considering the cavitation phenomenon and the sealing effect.
