The aim of this thesis is to synthesize charming metal-organic coordination polymers, which may exhibit well magnetic properties, on the basis of the polycarboxylate, large triangular diverse N-heterocyclic derivatives, and appropriate transition metal salts by hydrothermal techniques. Studing the synthetic conditions and rules for synthesing, analysizing the topological types and entangled types, exploring furtherly the principle of self-assembley and relationships between structures and properties for these novel compounds.So, we have chosen polycarboxylate:1,3-H2bdc, H3btc, bph ligands and large triangular diverse N-heterocyclic derivatives:Htpim, tib, Htpba, pytp ligands after analyzing carefully. Seven unreported metal-organic coordination polymers have been successfully gotted through hydrothermal reactions of metal ions in the presence of the selected ligands. Their structures were characterized by elemental analyses, ICP analyses, IR spectra, XRPD, single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses; while their thermal stabilities (TG), magnetic properties have also been studied.The molecular formulas of the compounds described in this paper are as follows:Compound1is the first one with coexistence of self-threading, polythreading and interpenetration, and also represents the highest connected topology reported for self-threading and polythreading systems presently. Compound2shows a new (2Dâ†'3D) polythreaded network, which is first assembled from the2D chiral layers, and with coexistence of two types of lateral arms. Compound3is the first (2Dâ†'3D) polythreaded array, which is constructed from the2D double-edged nets, and with two distinct lateral arms. Compound4is a new3D self-penetrating framework, which is still very rare in entangled systems up to now. Compound5exhibits a novel (2Dâ†'3D) polythreaded network, and that containning helix motifs. Compound6and7are closely isostructural, which are all new3Dâ†'3D twofold interpenetrating framework.
