2,3’-BIMs compounds structure unit exists widely in bioactive natural and unnatural compounds. Chemists try to develop a variety of synthetic methodology to realize the synthesis of core skeleton of2,3’-BIMs compounds. Based on the previous work of our group, this article put forward synthetic strategy by [3+2] reaction of3-vinylindoles and3-indolylmethanols to synthesize2,3’-BIMs compounds. Under1mol%of proton acid catalysis, the reaction was generated a single diastereomer of2,3’-BIMs compounds at the highest yield of99%.
