Propylene oxidation gas mainly consists of propylene, acrylic acid, acrolein, acetic acid, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, water, acetone and others. It is difficult to make accurate analysis of these components by conventional method. At present, there are no national or industrial standards of propylene oxidation gas analysis yet. With the development of domestic acrylic acid market in recent years, the enterprises producing acrylic acid have increased a lot. Therefore, it is quite necessary to set the corresponding enterprise standards.According to practical status of acrylic acid production in Lanzhou Petrochemical Company, we first researched the sampling conditions and parameters and then we set up a new multi GC method to separate the propylene oxidation gas using the present GC conditions in the factory. The apparatus included two six-way valves and one four-way valve, two columns of PEG-20M10%Shimalite-TPA (Φ3.0mm×3m), one Porapak Q column (Φ3.0mm×2.5m) and one Molecular Sieve13X (Φ3.0mm×2.5m). By several times of valve switch, we accomplished the analysis with satisfied accuracy. |
