With the development of economic, requirements of people for clothes are no longerconfined to practicality, such as keeping warm or cold, and so on. The requirements aretransforming to more fashionable clothing made popular, handsome fit appearance andpersonal customized. To meet the increasing consumer demand for personalized andcustom-fit tailored clothing trends, three-dimensional model of the human body based oninformation extraction from non-contact3D human body measurement, and the clothingdesign, virtual fitting, establishment of garment paper pattern auto-generation systems havebeen the main developing trends of garment industry.Based on three-dimensional female body point cloud data, the study used reverseengineering software for the secondary development of three-dimensional anthropometricdata. The results are used to research features of upper chest female body shape and armcharacteristics, determining the curve generation rules of feature parts, thereby to improvepersonalization of female body mannequin upper chest model and establishment armmodel, eventually completing the body parts of the data, in accordance with the relevantcharacteristics of two-dimensional non-contact body measurement system. The systemprovides automatic generation development of the human body model of the system in linewith the individual features in the software. The development of human body modelsystem which can automatically generate correct features for human body based on thecombined data of human body parts from the non-contact two-dimensional bodymeasurement system. The main works are as follow:(1) Body measurement: female bodies of students from Soochow University arechoosed as research objects and body datas are got by3D body measurement, photomeasurement and manual measurement methods, reverse engineering IMAGEWARE12.1are used to the secondary development of three dimensional body point cloud data and tomeasure the width and thickness of body feature parts. (2) Determine the point and line of feature parts: In the three-dimensional point cloudof the human body, the location of the relevant features need measured should bedetermined, thereby to get the curve of the features. The main defined and measured keypoints include shoulder point, upper chest width point, chest width point, under point ofchest width, armpit point, elbow and wrist point. Curve of characteristic parts have theshoulder curve, the upper chest width curve, the chest width point curve, the under chestwidth curve, the armpit point curve, the curve at the elbow, wrist and the arm end curve.(3) Determine the generation rules of the characteristic parts curve: The generationrules of the curves are determined. The specific method is to use non-contact twodimensional body measurement system based on MATLAB, extracting feature width andthickness from the body portion side of the picture. Choosing the center of feature curvewidth as a reference point, the left and right points as left and right key points, determiningthe curve front and back key points according to the spitting rules of the front and backthickness of curve. Then the relevant points are inserted between the reference and keypoints. Based on the relationship between the insertion and key points, the feature partscurve generates.(4)Establishment and improvement of human body model: Choosing OpenGL asgraphics interface, Visual C#Software as a development platform programming softwareto build human model using the computer, female body upper chest model and arm modelmannequin in humans based on data from non-contact dimensional body measurementsystem has constructed.
