The coal resource is non-renewable resources.With the development of economy,the coal resource is consumed gradually, and energy has become increasinglyprominent.Based on the WoLonghu coal mine8102working face as theprototype.Paper uses methods of analog simulation,numerical simulation, fieldobservation,mechanical and mathematical theory research etc,to research the rule ofoverlying rock destruction of WoLonghu coal mine.Through the analysis of the hydrogeological characteristics of Wolong Lake coalmine to obtain work direction of preventing water.Then, making physical andmechanical property test about core samples that were drilled from the2013-3pore,water7hole and1-6hole.Getting physical and mechanical parameters of the rockoverburden in8102Face.Analog simulation is designed based on the rock physical and mechanicalparameters and histogram.Observing evolution characteristics of roofsubsidence,cracks,caving zone and the height of water conducting fractured zone in11step excavation of analog simulation,and getting the advance distance and the twolargest height of the8102working face when fully mining.Use the FLUAC3D to simulate8102working face mining.Then obtaining theprincipal stress nephogram, vertical stress nephogram and overlying strata distributionof plastic zone(strata plastic layout) of tendency and direction when coal mining20m,60m,100m,140m,180m and220m. According to those nephograms todetermine the two largest growth altitude.The relationship between Wolong lake near the mine geology, mining thicknesswith water flowing fractured zone gets based on the above rock mechanics test,analogsimulation and numerical simulation.And compared with three mining regulations andother empirical formula to get the calculation formula of the fractured zone of WolongLake coal mine.According to8101face of the Wolong Lake mine that has beenmined,the new formula is more close to the actual results through comparing withother formulas. Illustrating the new formula more suitable for the specific situation ofWolong Lake coal mine.The results showed that working face advancing distance is about160m when full mining of the wolong lake coal s8coal mining.take the production ratio isbetween2.91to3.95,the maximum risk production ratio is3.95;crack production ratiois between9.42to14.34, the maximum crack production ratio is14.34.
