Today, the problem of pollution of river sediment are paid attention to the domestic andforeign scholars. Governance for the pollution of river sediment roughly divided into two kinds ofmethods: On-site-treatment and Ectopic treatment. Because of ectopic treatment is simple andeasy to operate. this method become to the main method of treating polluted river sediments. This article mainly aims at the dredging sediments of Nanfeihe river in Hefei, by usingectopic treatment method of stabilization of heavy metals, Select CaO, CaSO4, CaCO3andbentonite, by measuring the release of Cu, Pb, Cr in the sediment, and the preliminary mechanismof heavy metals in the release process, to achieve the better effect of stabilizer to selection.Provide the theoretical basis and technical support for sediment pollution governance of NanfeiheRiver1、Through adding CaO, CaCO3and bentonite into the sediment respectively, the deactivationexperiments of heavy metals in sediment were carried out in order to make a preliminary study onthe deactivation mechanism. The release of Cu, Pb, Cr in the sediment mixed with eachdeactivator was tested separately on two conditions of pH7.0and5.0. The results indicated thatthe release of heavy metals was improved as pH reduced, and only the bentonite batches restrainedheavy metals releasing into the water system both effectively at two values of pH. Furthermore, the stabilization experiment by means of mixing CaO and bentonite together with sedimentshowed that heavy metals in sediment released less when CaO and bentonite at1-to-3ratio.2、Calcium oxide was ameliorated by blending with bentonite at1-to-3ratio to act as blendedstabilizer, which then was employed for leaching experiment in column device made in thelaboratory. The results indicated that blended stabilizer showed better stabilization effect on heavymetals.
