As the State Grid the main UHVDC grid construction advance steadily, at the same time, the government and the State Grid to the power grid construction project environmental protection increasingly stringent requirements, how to reduce the conductor loss, reduce Conductor noise is a problem to be solved urgently, the conductor is the effective way to solve such problems.Design of Conductor Bundles is one of key technologies in developing UHVDC transmission project, which is very important for design of±800kV DC transmission fines, environment protection and project investment control. In this paper, with the eastern part of Gansu province for example, on the basis of electromagnetic environment transmission lines, including synthetic electric field, the ion current density, people or objects induced voltage, the radio interference, the television interference, the audible noise etc, through calculation and analysis from the electrical properties, mechanical properties, economy and other aspects, Determine the appropriate numbers of sub-conductors in a bundle, cross-section of sub-conductor and split type from the16conductors combination solution.Through the analysis of the domestic and foreign related UHVDC transmission line project conductor selection and similar data from this paper, Determine the the calculation method of synthetic electric field, the radio interference, and the audible noise factors etc, and analysis of the various related factors to the corresponding limits standard. Based on the established criteria and methods, combined with the situation in Gansu, the influencing factors were analyzed, and the use of life cycle method of technical and economic performance comparison, finally establishes the final conclusion:recommended the use of new national standard Conductor:6*JL/G3A-900/40.
