At present, the capacity of generator and transformer is increasing ceaselessly in China, power system is moving into the direction of " big units, ultra high voltage, large power grid ", thermal power plant in power system appears to be more important. Thermal power plant cost expensive, once fault occurs can seriously affect the reliable operation of the power system. Therefore, must reasonable specification for thermal power plant relay protection, measurement, control circuit design, to ensure the reliability of power system.In the thermal power plant, electric power plant secondary design especially in high voltage electric power plant, the rationality of the secondary design is directly related to the normal and reliable operation of equipment for power plant, then affects the safe and stable running of power plant. To ensure the whole electric power system operating safely and economically, we deal with the power plant voltage auxiliary power of secondary design loop with reliability, sensitivity, selectivity and speed are very good protection device, in order to realize the optimization of the design scheme. But we should give full consideration to the characteristics of large power plant. This paper focuses on the large scale thermal power plant for high voltage auxiliary power of secondary design circuit.This article is mainly about the design problem of the power plant perspective to the study of plant for high voltage electric power plant secondary. From the thermal power plant relay protection characteristics and high voltage electric power plant protection, control, measuring loop that often appear in the design problem proceed with to discuss this problem. Combined with the power plant voltage auxiliary power wiring the common forms and the electricity protection configuration principle, elaborated in the thermal power plant for high voltage auxiliary power of two times the design, how to carry out effective protection configuration and selection of protective devices, how to carry on the control loop to achieve the optimization design, and the whole power plant secondary loop seamless connection to ensure the reliable operation of the power plant.This paper explains and discussion the factory electricity protection design scheme combined with the engineering example in details and combine with design drawings of product applications to give the reader a power voltage auxiliary power secondary design.
