With the spreading of national intelligent grid work and the unceasing improving ofthe voltage level, a large number of monitoring devices will be installed in transmissionlines. In the environment of high voltage and strong magnetic, stable and reliable powersupply is the key for the device to run efficiently. In the existing power supply schemes,induction power supply is a better practicability kind of way in high voltage side. Thispaper mainly researched the solution to solve the magnetic saturation problem existing inthis power supply.Firstly, the basic principle of the induction power supply in high voltage side wasanalyzed, and the relations between parameters of power supply and the influence ofmagnetic saturation were emphasized especially. The scheme to suppress magneticsaturation was researched by the use of air-gap reluctance.Secondly, the closed magnetic core and gap magnetic core model was set up by theelectromagnetic simulation software Ansoft Maxwell, the power output voltage andcurrent changes was simulated under the condition of different bus bar current. Theexperiment of adjusting the width and the location of air gap showed that joining theappropriate width of air gap at the interface can effectively avoid premature core into asaturated state prematurely. The feasibility of equal effect method of the average length ofthe magnetic circuit was verified, through the magnetic core structure transformed. Thesimulation of changing the load size showed that the load on played an important role onoutput power and saturated bus bar current calculation.Next, a power supply structure of dual core parallel alternating power supply wasdesigned, using of the advantages of two kinds of magnetic core, it was able to induceenough electric energy in the large scope of the bus bar current. In addition, the protectioncircuit was designed, through short circuit at output terminal and adding compensatingcoil to avoid the magnetic core working long hours in deep saturation state, effectivelyreduced the fever of magnetic core and winding.Finally, two kinds of magnetic core and processing circuit were analyzed in the experiments, the air gap width, the size of the magnetic core and coil numbers of turnswere determined. The results of power supply whole test showed that within the largescope of the bus bar current, power supply can output of5Voltage stably, without anyfever phenomenon for the magnetic core. According to this method, every parameter wasadjusted and induction power supply on the high side can be made to satisfy differentrequirements.
