Since the invention of reinforced concrete, due to its good performance and thereforehas been widely used in the field of civil engineering. However, due to the lack ofdurability of reinforced concrete led to a lot of serious problems, these problems havebecome increasingly attracted people’s attention. The most important factor affecting thedurability of reinforced concrete is the corrosion of rebar. In addition, it has a great impacton the bonding properties of reinforced concrete. Access to a large number of results ofprevious studies based on the corrosion of deformed bars and concrete bond properties ofexperimental research, in order to have a certain significance concrete engineering.Themain work of this thesis are as follows:First, explained from the point of view of the electrochemical corrosion the rebar rustcauses and conditions, pointed out that the nature of the corrosion cell on the corrosion ofreinforcing steel and it is a short circuit primary cell, and the corroded reinforced concretebonding principle, type, impact factors some review. In addition the definition of countriescodes on the bond.Secondly, the production of the first batch of45specimens without stirrups, the useof constant current to accelerated corrosion, and found part of the rebar surface pittingcorrosion. Then use the universal testing machine bond-slip test specimen placed in the areinforced free end and loaded end of the dial indicator readings were recorded, and itscorresponding pulling force. The destruction of the specimen is brittle, made a loud noise. Finally, the production of the second batch of27specimens with stirrups carried outunder the same conditions energized bond-slip test method, specimen destruction ofductile rebar slowly pull out, and we got different corrosion rate deformation under thedescent stage of the bond-slip curves between rebar and concrete.
