Concrete has broad application in actual engineering, such as with concrete built of damand pavement, with reinforced concrete construction of housing, bridge, marine productionplatform, nuclear power plant security shell and so on; these concrete structures may subjectedto earthquake, seaquake, explosion and dynamic load contains in using process. Dynamicanalysis on structure is used concrete material of static mechanical performance indicators, however concrete material of dynamic mechanical performance with static mechanicalperformance has obvious of differences. This article combination NSFC--Experimental andconstitutive relation study on the uniaxial tensile and compressive strength of concrete underthe influence of the strain rates (50878073), analyses the uniaxial compressive experiments ofdifferent strain rate and strength grade concrete. Research on compressive strength, elasticmodulus, peak strain, and poisson ratio of concrete under the influence of the strain rates isgiven.Concrete of mechanical nature and constitutive relationship research is current hot topicsof civil engineering area, test data indicates that the performance of concrete in high strain rateand static is different. A constitutive model is presented suitable for strain rate condition; themodel has better approach with the test result and is easy to be used. It can be applied inconcrete finite element analysis. This paper based on the single axis anti-pressure test results of concrete under differentstrain rate, By using Solid65unit of ANSYS finite element program, finite element calculationmodel of concrete specimen is established. The evolution of crack patterns and failure mode ofconcrete are investigated. Crack development and failure modes of concrete specimen isestablished through the program calculates to explore the mechanism of concrete destruction.Structure analysis of concrete structures in earthquake without considering strain rate effectswould lead to large errors, Using numerical simulation method to analysis the deformation ofconcrete frame structure and concrete gravity dam under different strain rate. This paper canprovide further research and design theory of concrete on mechanical properties.
