The background of the task is derived from a cooperative project with theAerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and this dissertation focuses on adigital simulation platform of the infrared seeker. The accuracy of the dynamicmodel of the coordinator is one of the most important aspects in this simulationplatform. In this context, two main contributions have been done, one is the detaileddynamic analysis of the frames and gyro in the seeker coordinator and another is theidentification of a part of the parameters of the gyro.First, the dynamic analysis work of the frames has been done and its dynamicmodel is formed. Instead of regarding two or three frames as a whole, only oneframe is handled by taking interaction and coupling between frames intoconsideration. Thus it can be easily extended from one frame dynamics to two orthree frames dynamics, therefore this processing way has a great advantage ingenerality.Secondly, the dynamic analysis work of the gyro has been done. In order to solvethe problem brought with ambiguous points, a certain kind of dynamics modelwithout ambiguous point are established by choosing different rotation angles.Third, based on the established dynamic models, the simulation diagram of theframe and gyro is designed, and built by means of Simulink. Through definingadmissible parameters and interface of each module, the whole simulation platformof coordinator is assembled with sub-modules established before.Finally, a part of parameters of the gyro have been identified. Using subspacemodel identification method, an equivalent system of the original system is obtained.And in the light of similar matrices having the same characteristic polynomial, theparameters of gyro can be computed according to the result of identification. At lastthe summary of above algorithm was made, and the validity was tested throughsimulation.
