Cavity is a kind of low-density vacancy filled with vapor or non-condensing gas, which cover with surface of the vehicle. Researches has made agreat progress in the field of scientific research on reduction of underwaterweapons by applying supercavity technologies in recent years. So it is essentialto improve the understanding about the complicated phenomenon andmechanism of supercavitating flow. In this paper, we have a study about theaffect of thermodynamic factors to the structure of the flow field, cavitatingshape and hydrodynamic characteristics of cavitating flow using the method ofnumerical simulation. The specific works as follows:First of all, based on the Mixture Multiphase Model, the study aboutnatural cavitating flow in the different environmental temperatur e wascalculated numerically. In the result, the temperature is reduced by a few insideof the cavity; the higher environmental temperature would restrain cavitation;environmental temperature have little influence on the value of the vicious drag. And then, the unsteady ventilated cavitating flow including phases of vapor, gas and water in different environmental temperature was simulated on the baseof numerically result about nature cavitating. the result confirms that cavity sizepresent direct ratio variation trend with environmental temperature; the value ofthe vicious drag has no vary.At last, we have a study about the affect of parameters of ventilation, temperature of ventilated gas and velocity of incoming flow to the high-temperature ventilated cavity flow structure, cavitating shape and hydrodynamiccharacteristics using of numerical simulation.the complex mechanism of cavitating flow for ventilated cavity waspenetratingly understood and mastered in this paper by mean of numerousnumerical simulation and theoretical analysis, this can provide technologicalmethods to future researches on underwater supercavity weapons.
