With the development of auto industry, the problem as fuel consumption exhaustemissions, noise and pollution gradually stand out. Because of the exhaustiblereserves of fossil fuel,and poor air quality,expecially in some city in china, nitricoxide and sulfide seriously endanger the physical health of residents, so how to find akind of low energy consumption and low pollution cars to replace the traditionalautomobiles become the new project in automotive industry.Practicce has proved that because the battery technology is difficult to meet therequirements on mileage of commercial vehicles, and lack supporting facilities, so inrecent years, pure electric vehicles can not replace the traditional cars to get usedwidely. However, in some areas, such as tourist vehicles and city clean cars requiresgeneral car endurance but good environmental, so pure electric vehicles have broadapplication prospects in these areas. This type of car manufacturers are mostly smalland medium sized private enterprises.they do not have product development, designand experimental conditions, so they can only design new products based on theexperience of the past models. The prodects they design is often uncertain vehicleproformance, small stiffness and material surplus and so on.The research purpose of the paper is the lightweight design of pure electricself-dumping vehicles designed by Tianjin hongfengtai ltd. At first, the theory ofsystems engineering is used to analysis the pure electric self-dumping vehicles, anddetermine the research objectives and the content. Throughout the analysis processwith systems engineering theory. Sceondly, through numerical calculation andsimulation and optimization by rigid body dynamics software-adamas, thecompartment size and hydraulic cylinder mounting position are design. Thirdly,through finite element analysis software, the parametric model of the car is builded,and the strength, stiffness, and automotive intrinsic mode in the bending and twistingconditions are analysis. Fourthly, on the premise of ensure qualified automotiveperformance, the its structure size is optimized by integrated optimization softwareisight, at last, the total weight reduce by15%. Finally, the three-dimensional modelsand cad drawings using to manufacture products are output.The research in this paper is based on the system engineering theory, and use the analysis of digital virtual technology to finish the lightweight design of pure electricself-dumping vehicles. It is exploring a new rode suitable for small and medium-sizedenterprises lacking of design and test condition to decelop new products.
