| The uncertainty and intermittency of wind power has brought difficulties to theoperation and control of grid-connected wind farms, so a large amount of calculationand analysis for the power system which contains wind farms is necessary for safeand stable operation. However, there are often a lot of wind turbines in a wind farmand using a detailed model of a wind farm by modeling every unit accurately willbring large calculation burden. This paper carries out some work related to the windfarm equivalent model. It proposes a practical equivalent modeling method of windfarms in order to meet the demand of theory analysis and engineering application forthe power system that contains wind farms.As the theoretical foundation, several classical methods of power systemequivalence are analyzed from static and dynamic aspects and the weighted averageequivalent method and optimization algorithm equivalence method are discussed forwind farm equivalent work. Then the Monkey Algorithm is illustrated in detail anddeclared better than the Genetic Algorithm by comparison. After the wind farmequivalent modeling theory is introduced, the equivalent modeling method of windfarms based on the Monkey Algorithm is proposed. This paper builds an examplesystem on the platform of DIgSILENT, writes program codes using the built-in DPLlanguage and carry out the simulation. The result shows that with all kinds of windspeed input, the proposed equivalent modeling method of wind farms based on theMonkeyAlgorithm is effective and practical. |
