Wind energy has become the world’s fastest growing green energy è as a clean andsustainable energy, wind power has become an important part of the many nationalsustainable development strategy. And it also attaches great attention by the Chinesegovernment. In recent years, the development of wind power gradually expand fromonshore to offshore, so offshore wind power technology attract more and morepeople’s attention. Today, offshore wind power expands to deeper waters andmulti-MW, which also put forward higher requirements on the form of offshore windturbine foundation.On the basis of study on offshore wind turbines, this paper combines the most usedmono-pile and jacket foundation and put forward a new type wind turbine foundation–a new composite wind turbine foundation combined jacket and mono-pilefoundation, and analysis the force performance and its feasibility.This thesis work mainly includes the following aspects:(1) On the basis of the analysis of different offshore wind support structure,combined with the advantages and disadvantages of the current application of themono-pile and the jacket, this paper proposes a new type of the composite windpower foundation that combines jacket and mono-pile.(2) Using the large-scale general finite element software ABAQUS and3MW windturbine foundation as the research object, finite element models are established tosimulate the mono-pile foundation and the new composite wind power foundation.And it will analysis the structure behavior respectively in the geologicalcircumstances of silty sand and silty clay and analysis the new composite foundationstress; and the diameter and depth of the three structural-piles of jacket as variables, itresearches the stress and the levelness variation of the new composite foundation. Thecalculation results show that: with the structural-piles diameter and depth increasing,the stress of the mono-pile up of the jacket is basically unchanged, but that of the pilenext to the surface and the levelness of pile is obviously reduced; and with the depthincreasing, the increase of the steel is small, but the stress of the pile next to the soilsurface and the levelness of pile is large. This will provide some reference forstructure optimization. (3) On the specific project example, this paper intends to use mono-pile foundationand the new composite wind turbine foundation to do the finite element analysis.Based on the known geological parameters, load, existing experiences in engineeringand structural requirements, model size is set. When suffering load, thestress,displacement and the force the soil suffering are analysis to research the forceperformance and lay the foundation for the further analysis.
