Rubble-Mound breakwater is one of the most common structure types in shallow breakwater whose stability of protective facing is a key element of offshore engineering. This research is mainly dominated by flume experiment of irregular wave. However, there are few3D experiments involved in irregular wave in modern China. This paper established3D physical model on breakwater project of Malaysia Ugandan estuary. Due to the longitudinal trend of breakwater is arc shape, it’s much easier to simulate in3D model. By using the height wave acquisition device, wave height distribution within engineering area is obtained. Visual observation method is used to get the instability number of rubble-mound breakwater armor stones of different areas, and also to describe the condition of wave overtopping. According to the test, an optimized scheme is proposed.2D physical model is mainly used in coastal area calculating wave overtopping value. This paper mainly illuminates2D mathematical model and numerical simulation software MIKE21which is often used in offshore engineer ing. In order to achieve wave height, BW module established2D wave mathematical model in the whole engineering area. The conclusion is base on the physical experiment, when the protective facing is oblique incidence to the wave, the stability increase with angle in a certain range. Through mathematics test, the characteristic of wave height is quite familiar to the m easured value which gets from the physical test.
