Crushing value is used to measure the capacity to resist crushing under graduallyincreasing load,which is an important indicator to measure the mechanical propertiesof stone.Firstly, through the selection of the same source material single particle size9.5mm~13.2mm,13.2mm~16mm,16mm~19mm,19mm~26.5mm for coarseaggregate crushing value experiment. Study needle flake particles of coarse aggregate,the coarse aggregate size and applied load influence on crushing value. Results showthat:1. For needle flake in the aggregate particles has great influence to the crush value,eliminate needle flake particle crushing value are much smaller than not eliminateneedle flake particle crushing value, and, as the coarse aggregate in the increase of thecontent of needle flake particle crushing value showed a trend of increase, the particlesize of the coarse aggregate, the crush value influenced by the needle flake contentlevel.2. With the increase of load, the single particle size of coarse aggregate crushingvalue all showed a trend of increase, and when all the files of the single particle size ofcoarse aggregate phase at the same time, the needle flake content under the same load,the archives material, particle size of the coarse crushing value, the smaller its.Secondly, according to the grading scheme for different crushing value test, studymore particle size influence on crushing value, the results showed that:1. In themixture, Neither the more content of coarse material and the less content of finematerial, the smaller the crushing value is; Nor the less content of coarse material andthe more content of fine material, the bigger the crushing value is. Crushing value ofmixture will not be appear obvious linear rule as a gear material content in the mixtureor a change of the total amount of any two gears material, but in a state of fluctuation.2. Crushing value and non-uniform coefficient of grading show a certain linearrelations, in general, the greater non-uniform coefficient of grading is, the smallerthe crushing value is.3. There is a good correlation between crushing value andSkeleton strength CBR, the greater Skeleton strength CBR is, the smaller thecorresponding crushing value; the smaller Skeleton strength CBR is, the greater thecorresponding crushing value, the skeleton strength CBR reflection aggregategradation strength, while crushing value reflect the ability to resist crushing, through the use of test results and a comprehensive analysis of the gray theory, Proving thatcrushing value can be used to evaluate the quality grading.Once again, the crushing value in engineering is discussed, Suggesting thatdifferent layers with different loads to do tests.Finally, the research results are summarized.and further research directions aresuggested.
