Research On Space Design Of Modern High-rise Mansion

In recent years, as the city scale expands unceasingly and the urban land resources areincreasingly scarce, the form of modern luxury mansion has been changing from the villa to theHigh-rise luxury apartment, which is the best choice for the sustainable development of city, theHigh-rise luxury mansion is popular among city’s elites with its unique resource advantage andservice quality. Chinese high-rise luxury house is in a development stage which has similaritiesand differences with single-family house. Its space design lacks a more comprehensive andsystematic theoretical guidance. Therefore, this thesis analyses the high-rise luxury mansion’sspace design in order to improve the luxury space utilization, save resources and meetenvironmental protection requirements and resident needs.On the basis of finding and reading references，fieldwork and contrasting examples，theauthor makes a more systematic research in order to improve the luxury space utilization, saveresources and meet environmental protection requirements and resident needs achieving theHigh-rise luxury mansion in the true sense.First, the author compares characteristics of high-rise luxury mansion and the villa, anddistinguishes the levels of high-rise luxury mansions with different space and area according tothe information collected and collated. Secondly, from the aspects of nature, technology andmarket competition, the author analyses the reasons for the rise of high-rise luxury housediscusses modern high-rise luxury mansion’s development trends and makes a morecomprehensive overview. Thirdly, the major characteristics and space design principle aresummarized through relevant theory and similar cases analyses, including spatial designcharacteristics, the living population characteristics, services and intelligent facilitiesrequirements. Fourthly,Combined with the study，the high-rise luxury mansion space is dividedinto five parts including public space, private space, entertainment space, traffic space andauxiliary space, and each functional space design is refined. Finally, compared NanjingInternational Center–YuJingHuaFu apartment cases with other cases at home, the authordiscussed similarities and differences between these cases.Through the research, I hope this paper can provide a useful reference for the design ofhigh-rise luxury mansion space，which makes space design more reasonable, more green, toachieve the optimal allocation of resources，to enhance the comfortable feeling of space.
