Reconstruct Chinese Traditional Auspicious Patterns In Modern Home Design

China has a long history and profound cultural, it is one of the cradles of worldcivilization. In the long history development, our ancestors use their wisdom anddiligence create the desire and pursuit of a better life, but also extract rich in folkcharacteristics and contains the hope of auspicious patterns from their life. In ancientChina, these traditional patterns have been widely used in ceramic products, textiles,handicrafts and construction and other man-made objects, and they appeared in homefurnishing life corner, decorate and beautify people’s living environment. At present,along with the modern life of quality requirements improve, people pay more and moreattention to home furnishing space decoration, Chinese traditional auspicious patternsin the culture, decorative, historic and ethnic features began to be concerned.This paper begins with the system arrangement of Chinese traditional auspiciouspatterns form and contends, analysis the requirements of modern man decorationaesthetic demand in home furnishing environmental space and their own culture spiritupgrading on home furnishing living environment. Inducting the traditional auspiciouspatterns in the modern home furnishing environment applications, through thequestionnaire survey, summarized the traditional patterns and modern home furnishingthe integration of environmental modes. Thesis is divided into four parts, the first partis the theory basis, mainly explain the traditional auspicious patterns in the content,classification and meaning relevant theory as the theory support of paper. The secondpart is a comprehensive analysis, mainly analysis the traditional patterns and modernhome furnishing relationship from the traditional and modern furnishing designconcept and contemporary home furnishing design idea. The third part is thereconstruction design, based on the analysis of theory and practice, inductivetraditional auspicious patterns in modern home furnishing environment reconstructionprinciples and practices. The fourth part is the questionnaire survey. Through thequestionnaire survey to the traditional auspicious patterns in home furnishingapplications, confirm the value and significance of the traditional auspicious patterns inmodern home furnishing design application. A famous architect Ieoh Ming Pei once said, every building is not only theindividual design, and is related to the location, climate, local history, people andculture background are also need to be considered, that is why the world building stillhas its own unique style of the reasons[1]. National and regional design has become themain development trend of contemporary design, the design community dynamicfoundation based on the development of different, nationality of the design, only withethnic style of the design can be make a country design level in the world with absoluteposition. Therefore, this paper studies the traditional auspicious pattern, it has a strongnational and regional characteristic, and it applied in interior design can better maintainthe continuation of the national culture and the development of a higher value.
