GRF pile foundation is a new type of geo-reinforement pile foundation.It improves interactionbetween pile and soil by setting layened and radicalized anchor around larege diameter pile.This typeof pile has some advantages, including simper construction technology, higher bearing capacity, lesssettlement, saving cost, obvious economic benefits and social benefit, which is especially suitable forthe large foundation composed of one pile and one pillar. This new technology has remarkableresults in the practical project.In order to clarify the GRF pile foundation’s bearing mechanism,thestudy through FLAC3Dcalculation software,3D nonlinear model is established,and the deformationmechanism of pile side soil,anchor and pile toe soil is analyzed considering on contact effectbetween pile and soil,anchor and soil,which is compared with straight pile of the samedianmeter.And it also investigates the GRF pile foundation bearing capacity with differert anchorlengths,anchor numbers,anchor spaces and anchor row numbers.The main achievements are shownas follow:1The results of numerical calculate show that GRF pile foundation has the characteristic ofbigger bearing capacity, less settlement and so on.The anchor makes the characteristics of GRF pilefoundation different from that of normal straight pile.Anchor inserting the soil, moving downstairstogether with pile under vertical load, and supporting by the soil.2The Anchor plays increasing role as as the load increasing; Pile side soli’s deformation ofGRF pile foundation is much less than straight pile, the gaps is increasing as the role of anchorincreasing.And the role of anchor have changed the deformation characteristics of pile side soil. Theoriginal shear deformation changed into shear, compression combined deformation in anchor lengthrange.3The numerical results show that the pile side soli’s deformation of GRF pile foundation ismuch less than straight pile due to anchor effect, and the deformation trend of pile side soil isdifferent.The heavier the load is, the bigger the deformation of anchor is, and under the same load thedeformation of anchor at different buried depths is different.4The numerical results show that the bearing capacity of GRF pile foundation will increasewith the increase of anchor length.According to the results of numerical calculate, adding anchor number can improve the bearing capacity of GRF pile foundation.Changing anchor row number onthe premise of certain anchor total number, the bearing capacity of GRF pile foundation will inproveto some extent with the increase of anchor number. The bearing capacity of GRF pile foundation willincrease with the increase of anchor space.
