The sustainable development of automotive industry faces double pressure are energy and environment protection. It is necessary to develop zero emission and zero pollution electric automobile. The driving range for one charging of the electric automobile is far less than traditional fuel automobile, there are also some problem of charging equipment and charging time. Those factors lead to seriously impact on industrialization and rapid promotion of electric automobile. Regenerative braking technology improve the limited driving range has important significant in improving the economy and dynamic of electric automobile and hybrid car.The FAW863project "The distributed electric automobile vehicle control system development" as the basis of this paper, based on two degrees of freedom model of automobile brake and brake single wheel model, analyze and design brake pedal feel simulator. Achieve coordinated control between hydraulic braking and regenerative braking. Functional design the key components of the hydraulic control unit.Based on the AMESim simulation platform and analyze the submodel of regenerative braking hydraulic control unit, then establish the integrated simulation model of regenerative braking hydraulic control unit. Analyze the different parameters effects on regenerative braking hydraulic control unit dynamic characteristic.Build sinusoidal pressure simulation test bench test, analysis sinusoidal follow performance dynamic characteristics on hydraulic control unit, The experimental results showed that the hydraulic control unit regulate performance show good, but the outlet valve low pressure following proformance is slight worse. Active pressurization test are carry out on the unit, and the performance shows good. Install the unit on real vehicle as well, verify the reliability of hydraulic control unit.
