In the production and cutting process of carbide cutting tools, in order to protect thecemented carbide tool, use cutting fluid. The effect of cutting fluid is flush, cooling andlubrication, rust, the cutting fluid can minimize tool wear. But some of the cutting fluidadditive can make cobalt of the carbide leaching, tungsten carbide will oxidation,dissolved in solution, and leaching, destroy the cutting tool material structure,accelerating the tool wear.Through the immersion test, with the aid of scanning electron microscopy andenergy spectrum analysis, we have researched in triethanolamine solution, sodiumcarbonate solution, borax solution, benzene and triazole solution, oleic acidtriethanolamine solution, and oleic acid triethanolamine, benzene triazole and boraxcombination solution for chemical wear mechanism of cobalt and tungsten carbide incemented carbide tool. The experimental results show that: borax solution, benzene andtriazole solution, oleic acid triethanolamine solution and a group composite solution ofoleic acid triethanolamine, benzene triazole, borax, have the better function of inhibitingleaching at the same for cobalt and tungsten carbide in cemented carbide150℃, boraxsolution have no leaching effect on cobalt, the leaching rate of tungsten was2.88%.Borax mechanism: the system of carbide and borax solution occurre polarization reaction,slow down the corrosion rate of the tool, inhibit the leaching of cobalt and tungsten incemented carbide tool; In normal and150temperature, benzene triazole solution have noleaching effect on cobalt, the leaching rate of tungsten was1.53%at normal temperature,Benzene and triazole mechanism: benzene triazole have solitary on electronic, it can fitmetal into insoluble complexes, these complexes adsorption in the cemented carbide toolsurface. Along with the coordination content increasing, these complexes willpolymerization form a layer of precipitation membrane, rise the function to protectcutting tool; in150temperature oleic acid triethanolamine solution have no leachingeffect on cobalt, the leaching rate of tungsten was0.39%. The function mechanism oftriethanolamine oleate: because of oleic acid triethanolamine ester is a kind of adsorptiontype corrosion inhibitor, the common action of polar group and non polar group in oleicacid triethanolamine ester have stoped the leaching of carbide surface element.In order to further validation the leaching effect of cutting fluid for cobalt andtungsten element in cemented carbide tool, simulation processing state of cementedcarbide tool in the metal cutting processing, design the friction experiment, grindingexperiment, the experimental results and soak in the experiment. The experimentalresults have the same results with immersion test.In the cutting process, according to the requirements of the processing chooseappropriate cutting fluid, to minimize tool wear, guarantee the machining quality,realizing green manufacturing.Figure26; Table36; Reference51...
