Wind energy is a kind of clean and renewable energy, and the necessity for the useof wind energy development has become increasingly important in the situation of theglobal energy crisis and serious environmental pollution. Compared to constant speedconstant frequency wind power generation system, variable speed constant frequencywind power generation system with high wind energy utilization in wind power researchareas gradually become the mainstream of research. With the in-depth research on windpower generation system, the research on the simulation platform of wind powergeneration system based on the wind turbine simulation become more important thanbefore. This article worked for the machine-side control study of variable speedconstant frequency doubly fed wind power generation system based on the wind turbinesimulation.Firstly, study on the wind turbine simulation. Determine the program of the windturbine simulation used AC induction motor by the results of the comparison betweenmechanical properties of the AC induction motor and the characteristics of wind turbine,after that, study on direct torque control applied to AC induction motor. Use the methodby inserting zero voltage vector into the effective space voltage vector every samplingperiod in order to reduce the torque ripple of the direct torque control system. Theresults of the compare simulation prove that the improved method is better than thetraditional one in wind turbine simulation.The machine-side grid-connection control for doubly fed wind power generationsystem has been studied on the basis of the existing grid-connection control mode andcontrol strategy, This article used the grid-connection control strategy with the loadbased on the stator voltage vector orientation in order to studying machine-sidegrid-connection control of the double-fed wind power generation system. Receive theconclusion that the PI regulator can not completely eliminate the deviation of the rotorcurrent exchange by the analyzing of traditional application of the PI regulator controlsystem, after that apply the proportional-resonance (PR) modulator on thegrid-connection control strategy with the load of stator voltage vector oriented load. Thesimulation results prove that the application of PR regulator control system can improvethe effects of the power generation system’s grid-connection control.Study on the machine-side maximum power point tracking control strategy of thedouble-fed wind power generation system. Analyse the direct speed control (DSC)method and indirect speed control (ISC) method which is two of the commonly usedmethods of control strategies for maximum power point tracking of the double-fed windpower generation system. Compare with the advantages and disadvantages betweenDSC and ISC, after that the dual-mode control method for DFIG machine-side maximum power point tracking control is put forward. The dual-mode control methodcombine the advantages of DSC and ISC by designing the switching rules of the thedual-mode control method. Apply the dual-mode control method on the maximumpower point tracking control of DFIG machine-side control, and the simulation resultsprove that the dual-mode control system can improve the effects of the maximum powerpoint tracking control of double-fed wind power generation system’s machine-sidecontrol.
