In recent years our country have more and more investment in infrastructureconstruction, and earthworks accounts for a large proportion the construction ofinfrastructure. Hydraulic excavators is the mechanical equipment which is used tocomplete the earthwork. There are more and more demand for excavator in ourcountry, but the loss of energy is serious when excavator in work, so the excavatorenergy saving get more and more attention. In order to reduce the excavatorhydraulic system energy waste, improve operating comfort and serviceability of theexcavator, we analyze the load sensing hydraulic control system, put forward a newexcavator load sensing system and have research on it.First we have search on the domestic and foreign literature, and analysis threehydraulic control systems commonly used in the excavator, then introducedcartridge valves, electro-hydraulic proportional technology and digital pumptechnology to the load sensing system. We use flow amplifier Valvistor valve tocontrol the flow, cartridge valve to control the flow direction, load-sensitive digitalpump output pressure and flow.Then use Simulation X software modeling and simulation the above-mentionedload sensing system and its components, functions and features of each componentsis verified by simulation, then analysis the new load sensing system functions andenergy efficiency found that the control valve the pressure loss is significantlyreduced.Finally introduce the TTC60controller used in the construction machinery, anduse it to complete control system’s hardware and software design of the new loadsensing hydraulic system. Last we have debugging experiment for the controlsystem, verified the function of the control system.
