With the development of manufacturing industry, especially the rapiddevelopment of aerospace technology, we urgently need the accurate, efficient andhigh performance multi-cylinder hydraulic press with large tonnage. According tomulti-cylinder forging hydraulic press, we finished the development and design ofmulti-axis digital servo controller with the help of electronic information technology.First of all, the development of multi-cylinder hydraulic press and servo controlsystem is introduced as well as the development and composition of the digital sercocontrol system. Then according to the comparison and comprehensive consideration,paper has given the alorithm needs, engineering practice and contrast of the existingforengn muliti-axis servo controlle, paper has desingned the schemes that use DSP(TMS320F2812)+FPGA(EP2C8Q208) as controller for muliti-axis digital servocontrol system. To run control algorithm and underliyuing protocol, inprove the speedof the controller and reduce the control cocle, we use high speed digital signalprocessor DSP as controller central processing chip. To complete the DSP andexternal module information exchange and pretreatment, paper uses FPGA as thecontroller of data pretreatment unit, so that all the rading and writing logic arecompleted by hardware, sepecially the speed measurement module. The designimprove the real-time performance of the controller, at the same time incereases theflexibility of the syetem. In order to make the servo controller communicate withother equipment and have access to network and the upper computer networkcommunicate wit other equipment and have access to network and the uper computernetwork communication openly, paper bring Ethernet interface into controller.Secondly, according to the proposed design scheme, paper has achieved thedesign and implementation of multi-cylinder machint servo controller. In order tocomplete the direct information interaction and data processing between the DSP andexternal module,we use Quartus â…¡ software to complete FPGA internal logicalfunction prorramming,simulation and verification.Additionally, we use the externalme mory port (16bit parallel bus) of DSP to realize the reading and writing betweenDSP and external modulse.Finally, with the special developmengt tools CCS2.2of TICompany,paper has completed internal programming and online debugging of DSP, to make the controlle connect with other equipment base on the Ethernet use ICMP orUDP protocol.The controller has the function of:8digital input and output channels;8analog input channels;8analog output channels;8absolute encoder interface based on SSI;1Ethernet communication interface.
