With the energy problem being severe increasingly, saving energy research especiallybuilding energy saving research has become the concern of nationwide and even allover the world. The "Four step energy saving" standard which will be published soonhas presented the higher request of the coefficient of heat transfer in residentialbuilding’s outside windows, which common glass could be difficult to achieve. Low-evacuum hollow compositing glass compositing low-e glass, vacuum glass and hollowglass three together not only remedy their shortcomings, but also combines theadvantages of the three effectively with good thermal insulation and condensationprevention performance. This paper mainly studies low-e vacuum hollow compositeglass optical thermal performance, including heat transfer coefficient, shelteringcoefficient, visible light transmittance and other parameters of different low-e vacuumhollow composite glass in diverse combination. This former three chapters of the article firstly introduces the research background, purpose and significance, research actuality, contents and methods, etc.; Secondly, inthis paper, the types of commonly used building glass are introduced, at the same timethe basic optical performance of general glass and relevant physical parametersinvolved in the article are introduced; Then the low-e vacuum hollow composite glassare reviewed, including vacuum glass, hollow glass, low-e glass each energy savingprinciple and characteristics, and the characteristics when they are grouped together. The fourth and fifth chapters is the core section of this paper. Among them, the fourthchapter took the experimental research on different combination of low-e vacuumhollow composite glass heat transfer coefficient, sheltering coefficient and visiblelight transmittance, compared, and concluded different characteristics of thecombinations. In order to ensure the accuracy of the results, the experimental methodall adopt the national standard, testing heat transfer coefficient is based on GB/T8484-2008, test sheltering coefficient and visible light transmittance is based on GB/T2680-94and JGJ/T151-2008.In the fifth chapter I selected a residential building in Shijiazhuang, all the peripheralprotection structure’s glass of the building will be firstly replaced by the different combination of low-e vacuum hollow composite glass which were selected in thetesting. Using DesignBuilder to calculate the building annual energy consumption indifferent combinations of the glass, the one which has the lowest energy consumptionis the optimal combination of low-e vacuum hollow composite glass in the coldregions. Taking energy saving, beautiful and other factors into consideration, writermade the whole year energy consumption when using the optimal combination of theglass simulation compared with the simulated result to prove the advantages of low-evacuum hollow composite glass in cold area’s energy saving.
