Because of the uncontrolled use of fossil fuels, the environmental problems areincreasingly serious, contries around the world are developing clean energy actively.Using wind power, solar power and other clean energy as power supply in distributedgeneration system, they have the advantages of networking flexible, easy controlling,and high energy efficiency. Because wind and solar resources have the disadvantagesof intermittent and subject to changes in weather, we must use energy storage devicesassociated with distributed power generation system to realize the output power stableand reliable.Currently, in distributed generation system, permanent magnet synchronousgenerators are using widely as wind turbine, and reverse into frequency qualified ACpower to grid after rectifier, chopper and inverter. Also the photovoltaic power usingthe inverter control to put the power into the grid. In this paper, based on analysis ofmathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous wind turbine and photovoltaicpower generation, built the models in MATLAB/Simulink software as the basis foranalysis of the power of distributed generation system.The characterization of the energy storage device is the core part of this paper.Distributed generation system commonly using battery as energy storage devices. Theshortcomings of battery are the slow response, but the capacity are usually large. Dueto the technology and process immaturity, the capacity of new type ofsuperconducting magnetic energy storage, super capacitor energy storage are smallalthough the fast response. Two with the reasonable use is the focus of this paper. Inthis paper,on the bases of mathematical model of energy storage devices, build thesimulation models. Analysis several typical situations in simulation and put forwardoptimal combination control schemes in distributed power generation system. Thesework have important significance to realization reasonable use of energy storageequipment in distributed generation system and improve the reliability of powersupply.
