As energy saving and environmental protection have been widely accepted, thedevelopment and researches of new energy vehicles in main vehicle manufacturers andresearch institutions are becoming more and more extensive and deep. As representativeof energy conservation and environmental protection vehicles,hybrid vehicles, pureelectric vehicles and fuel cell vehicles have become hotspots of the energy conservationand environmental protection vehicles development. Among them, hybrid vehicles areconsidered to be the most effective and feasible way to achieve energy savingautomotive industry under the present conditions.In this paper, taking speed coupling hybrid system with a single motor and aplanetary gear coupling system as the research object, the following studies were done:First, The simple schematic can be abstracted. The model of main component canbe established with the method of theory and experiment. Vehicle dynamic model,engine model, ISG(integrated starter generator) motor model, battery model andplanetary dynamics model are developed.Second, characteristics of ISG hybrid electric drive system is analyzed, theworking mode is analyzed. The instantaneous optimization energy management strategyis established base on ECMS(Equivalent Consumption Minimization Strategy). Theequivalent fuel consumption of battery SOC correction coefficient and the averageexpected regenerative braking power is Introduced to correct the equivalent fuelconsumption of battery. To improve the precision of the instantaneous optimization ofenergy management strategy.Third, By using DP(Dynamic Programming) global optimization method, theengine throttle and the AMT(Automated Manual Transmission) transmission gear wereset as the control variables, and the engine speed and the battery SOC were set as thestate variables, the engine fuel economy was set as the objective function, and thebattery SOC balance and the limited frequent shifting were set as the additional costfunction, then a global optimization program was built.Finally, The global optimization energy management strategy and instantaneousoptimization energy management strategy of fuel economy is analyzed based onmatlab/simulink. The effectiveness of energy management strategy and ISG hybridelectric vehicles advantage more fuel-efficient is validated. Currently, major car companies all over the the world apply for a patent to protecttheir own technical solution about energy management control strategies of HEV.Research results are used to develop energy management strategies of HEV based onproprietary intellectual property rights for promoting development of technology andindustry in new energy vehicle field.
