The Study Of Urban Recreational Greenway Planning Based On The Construction Of Livable Cities

The construction of urban green space environment has very big effect for the the goal of construct of livable city. It is the most direct feature of the external performance of livable city. The traditional urban green space planning in early days couldn’t satisfy the new requirements of present urban development already. There need more new ideas, new forms, new goals to add into urban green space planning.The study of such issues appeared in regional planning more often, by introducing a regional greenway concept to promote the quality of the green space system. However, there are few research can work to the level of urban and community level. This thesis research on the urban recreational green way, and came up with the planning strategy aim at urban built-up area,to explore the function of the construction of livable city.This thesis gave the definition of urban recreational green way which suitable for Chinese urban development and taking the construction of livable city as the goal. This thesis explored the methods and strategies of urban recreational green way in Chinese cities and the green way’s function for the construction of livable city through the comparison of the domestic and foreign urban green way construction. It focused on the landscape diversity analysis investigation and the way of all kinds of landscape resources investigation and utilization to make the urban recreational green way planning more targeted and highlighting the characteristics of city. The green way route selection is different from others, which focused on the city’s future development and the humanization use requirement. The urban recreational green way combined with the slow system which help to strength the good function for the urban traffic system. Making it play a big role in the construction of livable cities by making full use of the greenway’s versatility.This thesis take center of WuJin in ChangZhou for example, introduced the greenway planning scheme in detail. This case verify the strategy of urban recreational green way which has been explored in this thesis. It provided certain guiding significance for the planning of urban recreational green way in the future.
