Automatic parking system is a kind of automotive electronic instrument that enables a car to get into the parking space automatically. Specifically speaking, it finds the right parking space according to information collected by sensors, locates the space and then guides the car properly, whereby the process of parking can be completed. This paper presents a method of ultrasonic detection of parallel and perpendicular parking spaces by studying the ultrasonic parking space detection system based on the performance of parallel and perpendicular parking. The ultrasonic detection system of parking spaces is an important subsystem of the automatic parking system, which is designed for automatic parking based on DSP TMS320F2812as well as system schemes and control programs written for ultrasonic sensors.A coordinate equation of parking system and a low reverse kinematics model are established for vehicles at low speed. On this basis, the limitations of the two arc parallel parking path planning method as well as the three vertical parking path planning method are studied, and an ideal method was derived by dividing the park starting area.An automatic parking test is conducted on an electronic vehicle with a retrieval form of parking steering control policy scope consistent with starting positions in accordance with the study of parking path planning. In the course of the experiment, the vehicle completed the process of parking with the provided control policy after detecting a parking space. This paper builds on previous relevant research and confirms the effectiveness of the steering control policy by studying it with data from the detection system for reference and successfully verifying the application of the ultrasonic parking space detection system and the feasibility of the parking path planning method in the automatic parking system with lots of experiments. |
