The conclusions of this thesis is abase on test of eight elliptic concrete filled steel tube long column of the axial compression and relevant theoretical analysis.The influence regular pattern of mechanical properties from analyzes the factors of slenderness ratio, concrete strength, steel pipe yield strength, steel tube thickness and section size of the elliptic concrete filled steel tube long column.The finite element model establish abase on the test data from certain material properties built on the foundation of, the nonlinear finite element software ABAQUS, the vertical loads elliptic concrete filled steel tube long column specimens load-column in the process of the deflection curve is calculated, and the calculated results and experimental results are basically consistent, determine the finite element analysis of the development of the theoretical model. And then, according to the theory calculation analysis the influence degree of the load-displacement curve and then extension the finite element analysis of related factors such as slenderness ratio, concrete strength, steel pipe yield strength, steel tube thickness, long long axis and short axis long, discusses the influce to deformation and carrying capacity of these factors.Advice the calculation formula applicable to the elliptic concrete filled steel tube long column axial compression stability bearing capacity, and according finite element and experiment results are compared to formula verification, general good agreement, it can provide reference for engineering practice and related design work in the future.
