In view of the present stage of concrete filled steel tube, especially the new type concrete filled steel tubular structure mechanical property research and application, this article from the experiment and theory two aspects to the conical hollow steel reinforced concrete composite short columns under axial compression performance are analyzed and studied, and in experiment and theory on the basis of the analysis, combined with the common reinforced concrete short columns under axial compression performance research results, proposed the conical hollow steel reinforced concrete composite short column bearing capacity calculation method.This paper conducted the following several aspects of research work:On12conical hollow steel reinforced concrete laminated columns by axial compression test of cylinder, taper, section size and whether the internal steel tube with conical hollow steel reinforced concrete composite short columns under axial compression performance, proposed the conical hollow steel reinforced concrete composite short column under axial compression load calculation type. The results show that:the column body taper, section size and whether the internal steel tube with conical hollow steel-reinforced concrete composite short column bearing capacity influence.Using the finite element software ABAQUS to establish the conical hollow steel reinforced concrete composite short columns under axial compression performance analysis model of finite element calculation, and the12conical hollow steel reinforced concrete composite stub columns under axial compression test. Finite element calculation and experiment of the full load-displacement curve and failure form of agreement. On the basis of the stress process in the inner pipe and the outer concrete stress distribution was analyzed, and given the interaction between steel and concrete, and the taper, strength of materials, hollow ratio, reinforcement ratio and other parameters on axial compression composite short column initial stiffness, ultimate bearing capacity and the load displacement curve are analyzed.Proposed formula for calculating the ultimate bearing capacity calculation results and the test results on the whole are in good agreement, which can be used to predict the conical hollow steel-reinforced concrete composite short column section compressive strength.
