With the development of inland waterway transport in our country, navigable capacity ofmany ship lock the is close to saturation even in a saturated state, so creating a large numberof lock expansion project. generally new locks is near the existing, the depth of foundationpit is commonly10m,20m or more of the above. Such adjacent lock of deep foundation pitengineering because of its large scale and deep foundation pit and complex environment, newrequirements and challenges are put forward to the design and construction of supportingstructure of foundation pitFor supporting design of deep foundation pit in our country, mainly through theory withexperience to determine the scheme, now is still in the phase of research and development. Atthe present stage, design guides, manuals and specifications of foundation pit supporting weuse were not fully meet the needs of engineering practice. Especially in the area of supportingdesign of cantilever retaining structure of foundation pit, practice shows that the classical soilmechanics theory that are used to calculate the earth pressure loading exposed many problems,so we need to further improve the design method of this kind of structure. earth pressure ofsoil limited and flexible retaining wall have their own characteristics, the classical earthpressure does not consider these cases the distribution and size.of earth pressureTherefore,in this paper use the method of combining physical model with mathematicalmodel,comprehensively considering the two factors include limited soil body and flexibleretaining wall, to study the soil pressure of retaining structure of limited soil pile, and todiscuss its size, distribution and formation mechanism, main work is as follows:(1) through consulting literature at home and abroad,I can summarizes the researchstatus of earth pressure of supporting structure in deep foundation pit engineering, theory thesimple introduction and the summary are carried on the traditional classical earth pressure,and mainly the common elastic foundation beam method used to calculate the pile underhorizontal load pile body internal force and displacement is introduced.(2)The proposed background of second-line shiplock in ZhuZhou navigation-powerjunction, row pile retaining structure of foundation pit excavation is adopted to establish thegeneralized physical model. According to different limited width and embedded depth of soil,the law of pile lateral displacement is studied.(3) Finite element mode in limited soil pile supporting structure corresponding to thephysical model was built based on finite element theory l, and its correctness is verified byphysical model test data and the rationality. (4) considering the effects of limited soil pile soil pressure of retaining structurenumerical simulation experiment was carried out, respectively, in view of the limited width ofsoil, the pile stiffness and the influence factors such as built-in depth, lateral displacement andsoil pressure on the pile are studied, and discusse its difference with traditional design methodcalculated value and the formation mechanism.
