Compared to hard switching,soft-switching reduces switching loss and increasesefficiency effectively based on resonance strategy.In power electronic converters sneak circuitphenomenon is different from normal phenomenon in power electronic converters. It isdiscovered in resonant switched capacitor converter firstly, then, researchers find sneak circuitphenomenon in BUCK ZVS MRC converter, phase-shift full bridge zero-voltage-switching(PSFB ZVS) converter and PSFB ZVZCS converter. It makes clear that sneak circuit is acommon phenomenon existed in soft-switching converter. This paper analysis the workingperformance of soft-switching converter and try to improve the performance of soft-swichingconverter based on sneak circuit. Buck ZCT PWM converter, Buck ZVT PWM converter, andBoost ZVT PWM converter have been described as example. It demonstrates the feadibilityand correctness of this method through simulation and experiment.The main achievements are as follow:(1) It discusses the effect of power diode, power MOSFET and resonant inductor andcapacitor of soft-switing converter respectively.(2) It analysis all the working model of Buck ZCT PWM converter based on switch Booleanmatrix. It improves the working performance of Buck ZCT PWM converter by adding sneakcircuit.(3) It analysis a Buck ZVT PWM converter with two input power source based on switchBoolean matrix. Then it discusses the working performance of this converter when runningconditions changed.(4) It analysis all working model of Boost ZVT PWM converter based on switch Booleanmatrix. It analysis the drawback of this conveter and proposes corresponding improvedmeasure based on sneak circuit.
