Investigation Of Road Green Space In Jinan City

This paper focused on investigation and research on the present situation of roadsidegreening and street planting in Jinan city.21roads and streets in Jinan were chosen as theobject of investigation. We investigated greenbelt form of fracture，ratio of green space，greenland type，specific composition，plants quantity and cropping forms by a thorough analysis ofreferring data obtained using synthesis method，questionnaire method and field survey. Thewhole greening of Jinan city was evaluated by the urban road greening and street plantingprinciple based on concept of Ecological Garden City in this paper. According to the survey,we found few greening, simple forms of planting, few plant varieties, low utilization of fieldspecies, improper management and protection, and so on.
