Vehicle Navigation and Control System is referred to as "VNCS. It’s a advanced designof embedded systems that used in traffic field to deal with the management problems ofvehicles. Vehicle Navigation and Control System is mainly used in a wide range of vehiclepositioning navigation, on the position of the vehicle state information such as real-timemonitoring, implement reasonable scheduling of online vehicle, in a timely manner to dealwith the problems in the operation of vehicle.This design achieved a design of Vehicle Navigation and Control System based onWince6.0. The system is mainly used in mobile navigation and positioning of the vehiclescheduling and monitoring, storage and query of the vehicles motion trail.The terminalrealizes real-time positioning and navigation of vehicle information through the GPS satellitepositioning signal, realizes the terminal and control center of information interaction throughGPRS wireless communication module. Thus, the system realizes the terminal of the vehiclenavigation, and control center realizes the function remote monitoring of position of thevehicle’s terminal.The system mainly consists of the GPS OEM module, ARM manipulated6410embedded micro controller processor, GPRS wireless communication module and controlcenter monitor port. The GPS OEM module is used in GPS satellite positioning signalacquisition. The embedded micro controller processor of ARM S3C6410is used to read andparse the GPS satellite positioning data, gets useful data and package them according to thedraft protocol. GPRS module sends the data to the monitoring center through the GPRSnetwork and public network. Monitor ports of the monitoring center receive and parse datapackage sent by the GPRS module. The monitoring center can replay real-time longitude andlatitude location information of online vehicles through electronic map, store relevant vehiclereal-time positioning information, and send control commands to the GPRS module in orderto achieve implements real-time management of vehicles online.
