The security of tailing dam, not only related the normal production of the mining industry, but also related to the residents near it。the dam failure occurred always,and the loss of the dam failure incident is out of estimated.so the monitor of tailing dam, both at home and abroad are very seriously and put a lot of manpower and material resources on it.The Chinese government has enacted a series of laws and regulations to requirements and specifications for safety monitoring of the tailings dam.Early warning and monitoring of the tailings dam is based on the sampling and analysis of some parameters, then compared with the early warning values. The main monitoring parameters including seepage flow, the length of the dry beach, the water level and the amount of displacement.And the dam displacement monitoring is essential parameter; it directly responsed the security conditions of the tailing dam.In pradctise a variety of different methods to monitoring of the displacement.early manual detection methods include cited, Line method, the vertical line method and the static level due.The modem method include GPS method and laser collimation. The modern method has many advantages unmatched by traditional methods, such as timeliness, accuracy and a high degree of automation.This topic is part of the tailings dam safety monitoring, and monitoring for displacement, the issue is the public relations project of the Science and Technology Department of Shanxi Province, belongs to the tailings dam safety warning and monitoring system, I mainly responsible for the displacement monitoring.Take the advantages of collimation, brightness of laser, as the reference line of the dam displacement monitoring, fixedly mounted on one side of the dam laser, and a certain shaping the beam expander of the laser beam through the laser collimator, so that it can be obtained better spot image and measure more accuracy.Mounting photoelectric detectors on the other side of the dam, use a CCD camera to obtain the laser spot, after the process of the obtained images, Then get the deformation of the dam.The method has the advantages of high precision, can simultaneously detect the horizontal displacement and vertical displacement of the tailings dam.The technology has good popularization and application values.
