With the mine trackless auxiliary transport system development, flameproof transformation on diesel engine which is one of the driving forces of trackless auxiliary transport system is more urgent. Exhaust gas turbocharger technology has been widely favored for its low fuel consumption, low pollution, high-power performance, But, due to the high temperature of the engine exhaust gas, the exhaust gas turbine is diesel engine hot section too. Flameproof diesel engine, running in the underground, meet the surface temperature does not exceed150℃flameproof safety requirements firstly, so turbocharger after the flameproof modification can be applied to the mine flameproof diesel engine.In this paper, on the basis of the analysis of the turbocharger volute flow and temperature fields at home and abroad, Automotive turbocharger analysis of the temperature field by using the FLUENT software, and measure the surface temperature of the turbocharger by using the infrared thermometer. According to the simulation and experimental results of ordinary turbocharger structural transformation, with the explosion of the cooling water chamber turbocharger temperature field analysis after transformation, and evaluation of the structure to improve the effect of reducing the surface temperature of the turbocharger. The main contents are:1) UG software builds a solid model of the Automotive turbocharger turbine housing, intermediate housing and compressor housing, and turbocharger surface temperature was simulated using FLUENT software, the turbocharger surface temperature field are obtained and analyzed.2) In the engine test bed, the surface temperature of the turbocharger is measured by using the infrared thermometer, measurements and software simulation results are contrasted, the reliability of the analysis of the FLUENT software is verified.3) In the experiment and simulation on the basis of the results, automotive turbocharger structure flameproof is transformed, the turbine housing increases the cooling water chamber, and it forced cooling by the flameproof diesel engine coolant, and it is increased in the intermediate housing to facilitate cooling of the heat fence, and established a three-dimensional solid model of proof turbocharger improved with cooling water chamber.4) The different inlet of the cooling water chamber is flow field analyzed, speed based on the obtained vector is contrast, the proper coolant imports is selected.5) The proof transformation turbocharger is numerical simulation calculated by FLUENT software, the temperature field of the improved turbine housing, intermediate housing and compressor housing is obtained, its surface temperature were analyzed and the effect of the structural transformation is evaluated.
