China’s automobile production and sales exceeded10million, reached13.66million in2009and exceeded19million in2012, China has become the world’s automobilemanufacturing and consuming country.The automobile industry has become an important symbol of the industry that reflects theoverall level comprehensive competitiveness of our equipment manufacturing industry.The automobile industry has a long industrial chain which plays a pulling role in thenational economy, the financial service demand is huge, so we need to develop ourauto-finance industry vigorously.Auto-finance in China has broad development prospects, but there is still a long way forus to go to reach the development level of the developed countries.This paper starts from the foreign auto-financial, gives a brief introduction of foreign autofinance, including origin and development history, auto finance subject and the developmentmodes.Next I focus on the domestic auto-finance market, from the following aspects to introducethe develop environment. Those are main body of auto-financial services, products andservice, the domestic legal system.Then analyses the possible develop direction of the auto finance by learning andunderstanding macroeconomic policy of the automobile industry.At last, the paper analysis the domestic auto-financial needs and development situationthrough two aspects, they are market segmentation and consumer characteristics, financialdemand based on the industrial chain. Now, banking and non-banking financial institutionsprovide many financial products and services, we hope that we can do something to improvethe existing auto-financial markets.
