In China, waterproof curtain leakage hidden problems occur frequently, the pitsafety incidents caused by the leakage is seriously harming to the constructions’safety and the people’s property, leak detection has been becoming a top priority.Waterproof curtain is a main technology measures to groundwater control in deepexcavation, Such as some of the super deep and large foundation pit engineeringwould be appeared in the construction of high-rise buildings, basements, undergroundstation and so on. Underground water has a huge impact on the stability ofengineering in the foundation pit excavation. If the foundation pit surroundinggeological conditions is more complex, the damage of water to foundation pit will bemore prominent. The quality of the waterproof curtain is directly related to the safetyof the foundation pit. The traditional detection method is comparatively lengthy andtedious, low testing efficiency, and cannot meet the demand of test work. There wasno evidence of mature technology to whole foundation pit detect stagnant water effect,the research for the related technical problems of this method is very few and justbased on the experience of water conservancy, the research has boundless prospects.In the view of the waterproof curtain leakage point location and leakage typedetection, the paper do research in numerical simulation and experimental two aspects.On the one hand, set different type geology geo-electric models of waterproof curtainleakage hidden trouble, get the targeted radar reflected wave charts from thenumerical simulation, and analyzing the charts to find out the general rule to explorethe interpretation sign; On the other hand, combining with the physical simulationexperiment to find out the main factors influencing the monitoring result.According to the theory of resistivity method and ground penetrating radar (GPR)method, based on the different measuring devices and its different position layout, thispaper analyzes the main factors influencing the detection results to the effect ofdifferent detection device for detecting leakage point, and provides theoretical basis for practical application. Research has shown that leakage position detected by highdensity electrical method and ground penetrating radar (GPR) detection technologywere located accurately, this technology has been initially formed detection system,and lays a foundation for practical engineering application; Detection effect of twodetection methods is affected greatly by the line layout location, the closer the surveyline is from the curtain leakage hidden and the more obvious the reflecting is;Dipole-dipole array in high-density electrical method to detect leakage point havegood effect; Radar detection is disturbed obviously by working environment, but thiscan contrast the electrical method analysis the effect, and better and more accuratelyto position the leakage location.
