The battery market continues to grow driven by the booming of the battery monitoring system, This paper presents the design of the battery monitoring system in this context. Study the performance of the battery, the battery can not be ignored is an important parameter-the battery remaining capacity (SOC). The SOC is the core of battery research, so endless SOC estimation methods in recent years. VRLA battery as the research object, using the least squares support vector machine and combined with the Ah method to estimate the SOC.First, this paper analyzes the battery use at home and abroad and its significance, introduced to the various aspects of energy, environment, security and understanding the algorithms and its development status of the battery management system at home and abroad. Compare the advantages and disadvantages of several algorithms. In this paper, a least squares support vector machine (LS-SVM) algorithm to estimate the initial value of the battery SOC was put forward, And on this basis, combined with Ah method to get the result of the operation. To establish a mathematical model based on the data collected, and obtained the LS-SVM model parameters.In accordance with the requirements of the battery monitoring system, this paper respectively, from the two aspects of the hardware and software to complete the battery SOC estimation system. The main function of the system is data acquisition, computing, alarm results show. The data collection includes sampling the battery voltage, current, temperature. Eventually MCU operated the sampling data, and the result of the operation displayed by the LCD, enabling real-time on-line monitoring of the battery SOC.Finally, the article points out the lack of the battery SOC estimation methods and the hardware circuit, and the next step in the development of the battery monitoring system was prospected. |
