With the character of clean, safe and sustainable, the wind power proportion of power system was fast increased. Meanwhile, the adaptability of of the grid and wind turbines has became more strictly. Recent years, scholars did a series of research on low voltage ride-through capability and reactive power compensation, while reasonable design and planning also worth considering from the side of power system.This paper presents some basic research about dynamic optimal power flow with wind farm, the model of wind turbines is established, which may be composed of squirrel cage induction generators, doubly-fed induction generators or permanent magnet synchronous generators. The border of reactive power of wind farm is calculated and the node voltage of the point of interconnection of wind farm is discussed. The model of dynamic optimal power flow with wind farm considering considering the dynamic change of wind speed was presented, which contribute to the coordinate control and economic operation of the power system. The active power result on the wind speed and node voltage, cause calculation without repeated correction. Based on the wind turbine model, considering the randomness change of wind speed and load, an actual24-hour’s wind speed and load curve is selected for data simulation and studied on the IEEE-14and IEEE-118bus system under the constant voltage or power factor control mode. The modern interior point theory is used to find out the optimal solution, which is contribute to analysis the impact on power flow distribution under the condition of the large-scale wind farms connecting to the system, the dispatching and operating for wind power, finally providing the optimal power distribution of the wind farm.
